Life's Imponderables

I missed my 100th post and with it the opportunity to celebrate..never mind, let's just sit here on the beach, feed the swans and watch the world go by...

I've spent a week spring cleaning the house and a few hours spring cleaning my computer and while I don't think of myself as a hoarder I do wonder where all this stuff comes from.
Here's an example from the computer..

  1. How do you draw a blank?
  2. How can there be a solo synchronised swimming competition?
  3. Why is it called a doctor's practice? (scary thought!)
  4. Why do kamikazi pilots wear helmets?
  5. If a number 2 pencil is so popular why is it still number 2?
  6. Why do we press harder on the remote control when the battery is dying?
  7. And why do we drive faster when we're low on petrol?
  8. Is a fly without wings a walk?
  9. How is it possible to have a civil war?

Why did I save this?

Have a nice weekend.

Hi Angela, I'm having great problems leaving you messages. You will probably get them all at once one day!

You have a scribblers heart! I can hardly wait for the novel that ties all of this together.

The Kamakazi pilot, who forgot to wear his helmet, forgot to fly, so walked to the uncivil war. Or something like that.

Fantastic photo too. I don't think I've ever seen swans in the sea!
