Autumn Journal Volume V

Tut Tut kindly reminded me of the copyright issues surrounding my chosen poem so I've deleted it. You can find it here if you'd like to read it.
The photo is of the plane trees lining the bridge in Pont du Loup which has a nice Autumnal feeling to it..

Thank you, Angela, for the poem! I'd like to post one by Mary Oliver, but I think copyright prevents me.

Beautiful photograph

I just surfed through for the first time and thouroughly enjoyed your blog. It sent me searching for my copy of A Year in Provence. I look forward to reading more as NaBloPoMo continues.

Ok, so Tut-Tut is in publishing, according to her Profile, and is maybe clued up on all the legal stuff. But considering what one can get off the Internet these days, I hardly think a poem on a blog will have the lawyers on one's doorstep. It's free publicity for the poet, after all, assuming he, or she, is alive. If not, the publisher and family are still hoping to coin it from commissions, obviously: but if you see a poem you like, are you not likely to go searching for more of the same, and maybe pay, like on Amazon, or a bookshop ? Maybe that's the answer, to protect your back: to provide a link for "more of the same" and then the most you are likely to get is a polite warning.

But we wouldn't stand by and see you you carted off to jail, Angela. We'll all campaign on behalf the Opio One (providing she promises to stops torturing us with pictures of all those mouth-watering but calorific confections).
