Sunday Coffee 3 in Antibes...
As the Man Who Travels is doing just that I didn't go out for coffee this morning instead I thought I'd post the photos I took in Antibes on Sunday two weeks ago.
We'd gone down on a whim but it turned out to be one those serendipitous days when nothing could have been better; we caught the tail end of a marching band, the streets were closed to traffic, the weather was fabulous (just look at all those people on the beach and they're not all German or Dutch, famous for swimming in the coldest of seas.) and everyone was smiling and generally having a good time. You can't beat it!

I'm glad you had good weather for your day in Antibes. It's been raining on and off, mainly on, the last 3 days, and is starting to get us down a bit. oo many mozzies about right now, as well.
Did you get to walk along Rue Haut Castelet in the Safranier this visit?
It's what I call Picture Postcard Alley, and is particularly attractive right now, with so many of the climbers all in bloom. I'll post a picture on my site just as soon as we get some sunshine.

I put two pix from the Safranier commune of Antibes up yesterday.
They'll probably have to be removed in a few days, to make room for new ones.
Blogger/Blogspot say we are allowed 300 megabytes each on the server. Can that really be true ? That's almost half the capacity of a CD-ROM.
I've read somewhere about organizations that give one storage space - a kind of backup to one's hard drive. Presumably one's pix etc would be assigned a URL, and then be accessible not just by ourselves, but other (designated) individuals too. Anyone tried doing this, so that any pix that one posts are accessible by 'late arrivals' to the site ? Just a thought.
